Along the way, you’ll learn how this city reinvented itself after the devastating fire of 1852. You’ll hear about the city’s maritime heritage along the harbour promenade, where you can pause to enjoy views of the small boat marina and iconic VAASA letters, perfect for photos. The tour ends at Hietalahti Park, a wooded area featuring tribute spaces to Vaasa’s international sister cities.
