Story: 🌊 See McWay Falls at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park: This 80-foot waterfall tumbling onto a secluded beach is one of Big Sur’s most iconic views. It’s a quick and easy trail to the overlook, and the turquoise water is unreal. 🏖️ Hike to Molera Beach in Andrew Molera State Park: Stroll through scenic meadows and redwoods along the Creamery Meadow Trail, which leads to a wild, unspoiled beach. We had to wade across waist-deep water due to the level of Big Sur Rive during the spring. 🌉 Drive Across Bixby Creek Bridge: Snap a photo at this world-famous bridge with dramatic cliffs and crashing waves below. The best views are just before sunset from the north turnout. ☀️🌊 Explore Pfeiffer Beach: Tucked off an unmarked road, this beach is known for its unique purple sand and the striking Keyhole Rock formation. It’s always been closed every time I visit due to rain so I’m itching to go back. 🪻Wander Garrapata State Pak: this park has epic blufftop trails, beach access, and spring wildflowers galore. It’s a great spot to escape the crowds and soak in raw coastal beauty. 🏨Stay at Alila Ventana Big Sur — or Dine at The Sur House: this is a luxury all-inclusive stay at this adults-only resort nestled in the redwoods. If you’re not a guest, The Sur House is open to the public for select meals (reservations recommended) and offers some of the best dining views in Big Sur.
