Caption: The vastness and emptiness of the coast of Big Sur outside of peak tourism season really made this trip for me.
And it was a nice slow paced time to enjoy a meal at the Big Sur Bakery and Fernwood Tavern (be sure to check them out and grab a beer or bite to eat!)

While the Big Creek Bridge is one of the more popular turnouts to overlook, it seems like there is a vista lookout every few minutes traveling down the road, with another unique and awe-inspiring view.
