Visit gentoo penguins on a pristine beach during our 5-hour tour. A bit over an hour’s drive from Stanley, Bertha’s Beach will welcome us with its white sands and crystal clear water. The area has been recognized as a wetland site of international importance under the Ramsar Convention. Bertha herself was a ship that didn’t make it, and got wrecked by the shore, losing its precious cargo – planks of cedar wood, scattered on the beach to this day (you will notice there are almost no trees in the Falklands). 1982 War Memorials and Points of Interest in Falkland Islands

Pick up and drop off to the cruise terminal is included with this tour Our guides are Islanders with a wealth of knowledge about the Falklands and can share their own experiences of the 1982 war with you. You will complete your tour with a good understanding of how the war changed the Falklands and how it has progressed since.
