It's hard to imagine, but once upon a time, during the heyday of the Roman Empire, this small village near the Adriatic coast was a bustling commercial city that due to its size and splendor was the fourth largest city in Italy! Aquileia is an exceptional archaeological site which has been part of the UNESCO world heritage site since 1998. We will visit the excavations and ancient remains of the Roman Forum, the imposing structures of the old river port and the remains of the Roman Domus. Don't miss the magnificent Early Christian Basilica which houses the largest mosaic floor in the Western Christian world dating back to the fourth century. The last gem is Tito Macro's Domus. The largest reconstruction of a real Domus in Italy of 1,700 m2. From the engine of the Roman city to the wonders of the Middle Ages to end with the history of the First World War: this is the meaning of this very interesting tour.

The guided tour begins inside our Wine Castle, to accompany you to discover the history of our family and the territory that surrounds us. Weather permitting, a visit to the vineyard is planned, to deepen closely the soil type that distinguishes the Grave del Friuli. We will then delve into the production chain of our winery and take you to the discovery of the barrel cellar, where the finest wines rest – the Reserves – to enrich themselves with unique aromas and best express their exclusive qualities. After the visit there will be a tasting of 6 glasses, so you can get to know our production of sparkling wines, white and red. We will guide you in discovering the characteristics of our wines and the oenological practices that distinguish them.

Come and discover Cividale and the Collio wine area in Friuli Venezia Giulia! We are going to discover Cividale, a UNESCO site for its Lombard treasures. It was the first Duchy of the Lombards on Italian soil from the sixth to the end of the eighth century. A walk through the alleys and seeing the art treasures will take you back in time. The town has always been a meeting point of cultures and peoples: from the Celts to the Romans, from the Carolingians to the Patriarchs. Countless are the artistic beauties and monuments of art such as the Devil's Bridge, The Cathedral and the Lombard Temple. We then move on to the Collio wine area, one of the most beautiful and famous DOC wine areas in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
