The day begins with a visit to the Luxembourg American Military Cemetery and Memorial. General Patton himself, who passed away shortly after the war, is also buried here, as per his wishes. From there, the tour continues to the Luxembourg National Museum of Military History. This museum is regarded as one of the best in Luxembourg for learning about World War II. Next, the tour takes you to the General Patton Memorial in Ettelbruck, the town that Patton’s Third Army liberated on Christmas Day in 1944. Heading further north, you will visit the "Schumanseck Remembrance Trail," a significant location in the Battle of the Bulge. After hiking the trail, the tour will proceed to Bastogne, where you will explore the Bastogne War Museum, the WWII Memorial, and the War Rooms. Band of Brothers in Bastogne from Amsterdam

In just one day you will see the key sights that give a good impression of the Battle of the Bulge. We will see a German Panther Tank, the bunker where Patton's troops reached Bastogne, McAuliffe Place with the General's statue and a Sherman Tank, the Mardasson Memorial with the iconic Bastogne War Museum. Of course we visit the foxholes of Easy Coy, 506PIR, 101st Airborne Division, the famous Band of Brothers and the village of Foy, taken in January 1945. But keep in mind it is a 3,5 hour drive to Bastogne without traffic delays. We will have a coffee break and the guide will bring a can of coffee and some bottled water.
