Story: The ferry ride over to Moreton Island is beautiful enough in itself. Cruise along the blue water for 90 minutes enjoying the view and take your pick from the large selection of food and drinks offered downstairs in the cafe. Once arrived at Moreton island, the view of the Tangalooma Wrecks are like nothing else!

Story: Easily one of the most amazing beaches we have ever seen. The wrecks beach is picturesque with its crystal blue water, soft white sand and rolling green hills just behind it. Could not recommend this place highly enough!

Story: Sit back and relax while the so called ‘Moreton Island Rollercoaster’ takes you along the sandy 4WD track. This track takes you around the island getting a view only accessible via a Four Wheel Drive vehicle. Such a fun way to see the island!

Story: For the thrill seekers out there, tobogganing down the sand dunes is definitely and activity to check out. About a 20 minute drive from The Wrecks you’ll come across these stunning sand dunes. Important to note that to get here you will need a four wheel drive. Once here you could spend hours going up and down the dunes.

Story: If you want an up close view of the Tangalooma Wrecks Reef, snorkling if definitely for you. Just a short swim will take you out to see hundreds of fish and if you’re lucky enough you might even spot a turtle or perfectly safe reef shark!

Story: Discover the bursting ecosystems of the Tangalooma Wrecks through glass bottom kayaks. Available to hire, a short paddle out will take you to the wrecks where you will be met with an abundance of fish of all shapes and colours. We would recommend bringing a wrap out with you as fish food to see them swim right up and eat out of your hand!
