Trip Highlight
I went to Aarhus during my trip and enjoyed to lovely Hygge vibes there. See everywhere I went below.
See MoreHotel Royal
For a hotel in Aarhus, Hotel Royal is a good option since it’s really well located in the center of town. The rooms are a touch older, but they have that classic old-world feel. The staff are wonderful and helpful as well.

Sat down for an incredible lunch at Atelier 33 Bistro. The French menu had classics from soups to beef tartare, and you can also get oysters here.
See MoreThe Old Town
Keep a few hours to visit The Old Town of Aarhus. Entrance requires a ticket, which takes you through decades of what this part of Denmark was like. There are even people dressed in historical clothing, showcasing life from centuries ago. It’s a really immersive experience and a deep dive into history.
