Hotel Kong Arthur
Hotel Kong Arthur is a cozy local stay, just steps from the main city center. I also loved that they hosted a “cozy hour” every day with a complimentary juice or wine in the afternoon!

For all things food, Torvehallerne KBH is the spot to go. It’s an extensive food hall set across two buildings. My favorite is the open-faced sandwiches at Smørrebrød. So good!!

Hart Bakery is one of my favorites for coffee and a cardamom bun. There isn’t a lot of space, so take it to go.

Tivoli Gardens
Tivoli is pure magic—get a ticket and ride pass to enjoy it all. In winter, it has so much lovely decor and festivities. You can easily spend 3–4 hours here, so give yourself enough time.

Day 2 in Copenhagen

Frama
Frama ne of my favorite design stores to browse and shop. It’s a classic design house in Copenhagen, and their perfume line is amazing.

Come to Apotek 57 for the classic Danish bun and try the matcha as well. It’s also inside Frama!

Rosenborg Castle
Plan an hour or two to tour Rosenborg, the royal castle. I’d recommend hopping on a guided tour to learn more, and then afterward, take a stroll in the gardens.

Donna Restaurant is such a lovely Italian spot in CPH! The space is beautiful, and you’ll need a reservation. Try the pizza and any of the pastas.

You’ll need to book Copenhot in advance, but it’s absolutely worth it. Take a taxi out to the saunas and soak for a few hours. You can also order drinks while you’re there.

Day 3 in Copenhagen

Kompa'9
Kompa'9 is one of the coziest breakfast spots in town. There are a few different dishes, like their classic omelettes or the Danish breakfast with rye bread and a soft-boiled egg.

Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek
Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek is one of my favorite museums in Copenhagen; there is such a wide range of art. I love the back rooms with the Roman sculptures and the center of the botanical gardens. Definitely stop by the shop as well—there are some great finds here.

For all things modern art, come to Nikolaj Art Gallery to experience an art gallery inside a church. There’s a café and store as well, so if you need a coffee break, you can grab one while you’re here.

Keep a few hours to visit The Old Town of Aarhus. Entrance requires a ticket, which takes you through decades of what this part of Denmark was like. There are even people dressed in historical clothing, showcasing life from centuries ago. It’s a really immersive experience and a deep dive into history.
