Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui
This is one of two of the only confirmed filming locations for season 3 of "The White Lotus." All seasons of the show are filmed at Four Seasons properties, and we'll see this one in Koh Samui! The resort feels treehouse-esque, thanks to the way it is situated on a hillside jungle, making it perfect for the Emmy-winning series' quirky cast of characters. Experience this exclusive resort for yourself!

BookNa Muang Waterfall 1
We are hoping this stunning waterfall will make an appearance this season. There are actually two majestic waterfalls close together that are among Koh Samui's top attractions. Both can be reached from the same area. The first one, Na Muang 1, features water plummeting from 60 feet up and has a large natural pool below it that is perfect for cooling off. The best time to visit the falls if you want to see them in their full glory is during the wetter months from September through November. Be aware that monsoon season is from October to December.
See MoreNa Muang 2 Waterfall
About a 30-minute hike past the first waterfall, you can find Na Muang 2. (Tip: The hike to Na Muang 2 is a little bit more challenging. It may actually be better to have your taxi wait for you, then take you directly to Na Muang 2, which is located in a safari park and is free to enter.) These falls are a little bit smaller but just as stunning and refreshing, with some beautiful natural infinity pools at the top that you can relax in.
See MoreWat Phra Yai
This gleaming golden, 40-foot-tall seated Buddha (one of Koh Samui's most popular attractions) can be seen from miles away! We wonder if we'll also be seeing it in season 3 of "The White Lotus."
See MoreOverlap stone
This natural wonder, that's also off the beaten path, is one of the best places to view Koh Samui from above.
See MoreWat Plai Laem
This more modern temple complex's giant 18-armed statue of Guanyin, a fertility goddess and a protector of all beings on Earth, would make an incredible backdrop for a scene in "The White Lotus." The complex also features a 65-foot-tall seated Buddha statue!
See MoreMu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park
This national park is actually an archipelago featuring 42 different islands east of Koh Samui. After Ang Thong was featured in the movie, "The Beach," starring Leonardo Di Daprio, it quickly became a popular place to visit! The park makes for a perfect day trip for adventurous travelers who want to hike, snorkel, kayak, swim, and more. (Tip: If you want to kayak or canoe, be sure to use a tour operator who can provide the needed equipment as there is not a place to rent them in the park.)
