Cayman Kind Watersports - Private Boat Charters
Cayman Kind Watersports offers private boat charters fully tailored to your ideal day on the water. We toured with Captain Hunter, who made the whole experience easy and unforgettable. They provide snorkeling gear, towels, and waters—but you’re welcome to bring your own drinks and food too. Here were our stops: 1. Rum Point Reef (“The Big Aquarium”) – We snorkeled in incredibly clear water filled with all kinds of colorful fish. 2. Starfish Point – A perfect spot to anchor, enjoy the beach, and gently play with starfish. Important: You must keep the starfish underwater at all times—there are on-site security patrols enforcing this to protect the marine life. 3. Stingray City – A must-do in Grand Cayman! We swam with, held, and even kissed friendly stingrays in the shallow sandbar. This tour was a highlight of our trip—relaxing, fun, and totally customizable. Highly recommend!

Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park
The late 1980s and early 1990s, Caymanian conservationists and local leaders realized that: • Cayman’s native habitats were rapidly disappearing due to development. • Endemic species—especially the Grand Cayman Blue Iguana and native orchids—were on the brink of extinction. • There was no public space dedicated to protecting Cayman’s plant biodiversity or educating people about it. So the gardens were created to preserve all of this. It’s known for its blue iguana program and all of the indigenous plants you can see.

Anchor & Den is a restaurant located at the Grand Cayman Marriott. Perfect for breakfast for guests. You have to try their iconic Wanderlust Brunch—an energetic, themed brunch experience that’s as lively as it is delicious. From 12–3 PM, guests eat, drink, and dance the afternoon away (Pride Brunch is a must!). It sells out fast, so book ahead—and if you can, ask for Nancy from Kenya, she’s amazing!

Captain Marvins Watersports
We took Captain Marvin’s 2.5-hour boat tour and loved every minute of it. First, we got to swim with the stingrays at Stingray City—such a unique and amazing experience! Then we snorkeled at a beautiful spot where we saw stingrays, colorful fish, and even a moray eel. The whole trip was fun, relaxing, and the crew made us feel safe and welcome the entire time.

Stingray City Cayman Islands
This was my favorite thing we did on the island! The stingrays have been coming here for years. One of the cool things is that stingrays will actually come up to you and you get to “dance” with them. You might even get a stingray kiss. Tip: Check online to avoid going on a day when the cruise ships are at port to avoid huge crowds.

Every Blooming Thing
We had afternoon tea at Every Bloomin’ Thing, a charming local garden where you can buy everything from plants to flowers. The tea menu was huge, making it perfect for a relaxing afternoon. We enjoyed a mix of hot and cold sandwiches along with delicious scones, all served in their cozy indoor restaurant. It was such a peaceful and lovely way to spend the afternoon surrounded by nature.

The National Gallery of the Cayman Islands
The gallery has impressive art on display. There was a fascinating exhibit of newspaper clippings from the 1960s to 1990s that gave a glimpse into island life back then. The permanent collection included beautiful acrylic paintings, woven and ceramic pieces, and sculptures—both indoors and in the outdoor sculpture garden, which even had a peaceful labyrinth. It’s free to visit, and there’s also an art studio and education center on site, making it a great cultural stop.

Kaibo restaurants, beaches, marina
You’ve probably heard of Rum Point, but what about Kaibo? This is a more laid back, upscale spot just a short drive from Rum Point. They have a beach club, two restaurants, espresso bar, and rentals. It’s right on the marina too so you’ll see all the boats and yachts pull up.

Bonny Moon Beach Club
Bonny Moon Beach Club offers a laid-back, toes-in-the-sand vibe. The restaurant is right on the beach, so you’re literally dining with ocean views and your feet in the sand. They’ve got cozy lounges, daybeds, and shaded spots that are perfect whether you’re there to relax, grab a drink, or spend the whole afternoon. It’s such a chill and beautiful spot to hang out by the water.

Cayman Turtle Centre
Cayman Turtle Centre is a sea life sanctuary, and the Turtle Adventure ticket is totally worth it ands gives you access to everything like: • Swimming and snorkeling with turtles in the Turtle Lagoon • Getting up close with the huge green sea turtles in the Breeding Bay • Feeding colorful birds in the Caribbean Free Flight Aviary • Watching sharks at Predator Reef (feeding time was wild!) • Riding the Turtle Twister waterslide and relaxing in Breakers Lagoon • Meeting Smiley, the resident 11-ft Cayman crocodile • Walking through Cayman Street and the Blue Hole Nature Trail It’s a great mix of education, wildlife, and just fun.

Pampered Ponies Ltd
This was our first time horseback riding into the water, and it was such a cool experience. We went with Pampered Ponies Ltd on their guided group ride, starting on the road, then heading onto the beach. Once we reached a right spot, they took off the saddles and we rode the horses right into the clear, shallow ocean—it was amazing! Afterward, we saddled up again and rode along the beach all the way back.

We had the best sunset dinner at Bacaro, a waterfront restaurant with Venetian-inspired Italian tapas. The patio seating was gorgeous—perfect for sipping cocktails and wine while watching the sun go down over the water. The vibe was relaxed and romantic, and the food was absolutely delicious.
