The Ritz-Carlton, Portland

Ok if you're looking for a bougie place to stay in Portland, the Ritz just opened this year downtown very close to a food cart pod with excellent vegan options and it's a VIBE! If you have the budget for it, it's definitely worth it!!

Sentinel

The Sentinel I would say is the next best choice to stay at, why you may ask?? Because Fortune (the restaurant listed below) Is a swanky bar and lounge that offers a FULL VEGAN MENU. A must visit for sure.

Fortune

Trust me when I say, you can never go wrong with the vegan mac and cheeze here!! Macaroni in a Pot developed an epic mac and cheez and is sold here. She not only offers 1 kind but 3 kinds, Classic, Pesto Broccoli and Chipotle Cheddar. SO GOOD!!! They also have many other items on their menu. I go here everytime I visit Portland.

Stretch The Noodle

Ok if I were to pick ONE place for you to check out while visiting Portland, I would say Stretch the Noodle. This place is so good they are only open Mon-Fri 11am-2pm and STILL make good money..That's how you know they're good. They have two kinds of handpulled noodles, the thinner kind and the wide long noodles. I like the Chao Mian with Veggies, the portions are big and it's like $12. It's also inside a reallly nice food cart pod so it checks all the boxes.

Scratch Breakfast

This is the best breakfast burrito ever!! This spot technically isn’t in Portland but it’s very close by! It’s just crossing over the bridge to Vancouver, WA. It’s a food truck next to a bar/ restaurant so you can eat at the outside tables or inside.

Chilango PDX

These are my personal favorite tacos in Portland and Vanessa the owner is so kind which makes the food taste even better. If you can you must also try her house made queso fresco!

Orange & Blossom Patisserie

Vegan pastries!! You must visit this spot for the best vegan pastries in Portland. For the longest time there was nothing so now you can get Italian inspired pastries like maritozzi cream filled buns, cardamom buns, focaccia and more

Lilla

Vegan Italian food!! Enjoy delicious vegan pesto pasta and pizza and you MUST try the orange olive oil cake and cappuccino for dessert omg so good. I wish they had a bakery just for that bread haha

GRANA Pizza Napoletana

Amazing pizzeria. The vegan options don’t have cheese but the bread and flavor the the ingredients are so good you won’t even notice an ingredient is missing. You can also get great vegan appetizers and the ambiance is cute.

Obon Shokudo

This is a Japanese inspired restaurant offering onigiris, udon noodle soup (my fave) and tofu katsu which never disappoints. You can also enjoy desserts like pannacota from Camelia Pistrina

Chubby Bunny

Delicious breakfast sandwiches. Total comfort food so it’s definitely a great spot to try.

Buddy’s Steaks

Omg delicious vegan Philly style cheesesteaks. The only place you’ll find something like this in Portland. Buddy is from Philly himself so he wanted to share a bit of his home with us.

Kate's Ice Cream

Hands down the best vegan ice cream. I always stop by here for the Pistachio ice cream because I can’t find it anywhere else. SO GOOD! There’s so many flavors any everything is also gluten free.

Multnomah Falls

You can’t go to Portland and not see the Falls. This is one of the top wonders. This is just one of them and the most popular because it’s closest to the city but if you have a car you can drive around to see more.

Powell's City of Books

This is the largest bookstore in the US so you gotta visit it! It’s definitely an experience and in the cute area of the Pearl District where there’s lots of shops and restaurants so make sure to pay a visit.

Blue Star Donuts

Ok I know VooDoo donuts is where the tourists go but if you want to go where the locals go, this is the spot!

Pittock Mansion

Another great landmark with a nice view of the city.

Forest Park

If you like hiking this is a must visit. There’s so many trails and it’s right in the middle of the city. It’s a nature oasis.

OMSI

This science museum is awesome! It’s great if you have kids. I used to go a lot as a kid and had so much fun but trust me Hiii have fun as an adult as well

International Rose Test Garden

If you go during rose season this is definitely a great place for a photo shoot. Also great views of the city and it’s just a beautiful environment.

Milwaukie Bay Park

Great park on the Willamette river not too far from Portland.

McMenamins on the Columbia

Also in Vancouver crossing the bridge from Portland and it beautiful because you can enjoy a view of the waterfront. They have delicious vegan burger option and Cajun tots! They also have amazing coffee.
