Bryant Park
Bryant Park is not as big as Central Park, but it has character. There is always something happening here, from movie nights in the summer to the winter village and skating in the winter. Come during lunch in the summer, and you will see New Yorkers coming out of their offices for lunch. It’s packed and perfect for people-watching. One of the many reasons it is one of my favorite parks.
See MoreNew York Public Library - Stephen A. Schwarzman Building
While you are in Bryant Park, hop over to the public library (right beside) off of Fifth Avenue. Some tourists are not aware that they can enter for free. Inside, you will see the stunning architecture and design - make sure you head up to the 2nd floor to see the Rose Gallery, one of New York’s most beautiful rooms, reminiscent of Hogwarts.
See MoreElmo
Brunch is huge in NYC, and Elmo is the perfect place for it. Located in Chelsea, this place is a gay hangout, especially on the weekends. The place to be!
See MoreGrand Central Terminal
Grand Central is one of the most beautiful train stations and a must-visit. You do not need a train ticket to enter, so head on over and take in the history. Look up the ‘Whispering Gallery’ for something unique to try out while there. If you are looking for a drink, find The Campbell, a hidden cocktail lounge.
See MoreOne Vanderbilt
Right beside Grand Central is another observation tower, One Vanderbilt Summit. This one is a bit unique because it has different art installations such as a room filled with mirrors and another filled with silver balloons. Perfect for Instagram photos.
See MoreFood Gallery 32
If you are looking for good food without spending a fortune, this is the place for you. This three-floor food hall is located right in the heart of Koreatown on 32nd street. There are several delicious food vendors in there, making it the perfect place to try a little bit of this and that.

I really debated whether I should share this one because it’s a hidden gem, and a part of me wants to keep it that way. If you want a unique, intimate night, this is the place for you. This restaurant is located in a hotel room and only seats four! The food and chef are amazing and definitely something you need to try out while in NYC.
See More230 Fifth Rooftop Bar
Another must-do in New York is to visit a rooftop bar. One of my favorites is 230 Fifth because it has one of the best views of the city, and in the winter, they have heated igloos.
