Here’s how I would plan a trip to NYC for the Pride Parade which happens on the last weekend of June. This year's theme is "Reflect. Empower. Unite." From the best literal spot to watch the parade to where you should go directly after the parade, do this for a quintessential NYC Pride experience!
Empire State Building
The best spot for me to watch the parade is when I can see the Empire State Building on the background. Go to this intersection: 28th Street and 5th avenue, you can thank me later!
See MoreWashington Square Park
This is where the locals pour out into after the parade. Such a fun and energetic vibe! Full of diversity and overall feeling of freedom! This is a must do!
See MoreLe Bain
After the park and the West Village where the parade ends, be sure to stop by Le Bain for one of NYC’s top LGBTQ rooftop parties. Watch the sunset here and get ready for a night of dancing!
See MorePeachy Keen
Hell’s Kitchen is a neighborhood in NYC that is filled with LGBTQ Bars, Clubs, and Restaurants. This should be your first stop of the weekend if you are planning to party all night! Peachy Keen is certainly one to make note of!
See MoreRise Bar
Rise Bar is a great mix of locals and visitors. The perfect location on 9th avenue and steps away from the theatre district. They also have a wonderful drag brunch!!
See MoreIndustry Bar
This would be the last stop of a perfect Pride March day in NYC. First of all, if you are travelling to NYC, this club is close to your hotel in Midtown. Second, it is FUN! I love the layout and the music they play. Lastly, Industry is where you bring your friends and not where to meet new ones. That said, bring your whole crew and dance the night away!
See MoreChelsea Piers
Finish the week of PRIDE Celebration at the Chelsea Piers! There’s plenty of greenery to lay out a blanket or two. Unwind with your friends after a week of festivities.
See MoreLe Méridien New York, Fifth Avenue
Situated on arguably the city's best-known street, Le Méridien has beautifully styled accommodations to go along with its iconic location. (Plus, book during Pride and receive 2 glasses of prosecco, Pride-theme macaroons and sunglasses for the Parade!)
