Located 10 minutes away from Downtown is where you'll find this beautiful property. The rooms are so spacious that I felt like an entire apartment! The amenities are great with a gym and complimentary appetizers at the restaurant. There is also a ton of parking with spas available! Couldn't recommend this hotel enough for anyone visiting.

Rip Van Winkle Gardens is a charming place filled with surprises and adventure around every corner. Take your time exploring the gardens are there are so many photo-worthy spots. They also have peacocks all around the gardens, which gives the gardens so much personality. They are people friendly and if you’re lucky, you might be able to see them show off their feathers :)

Chocolate, glazed, sprinkle, strawberry donuts. You name it. You’ll probably find it at Rickey’s. A locals favorite spot to grab a dozen of donuts for breakfast, as they are made fresh everyday!

One of the most aesthetic cafes in Lafayette. With a great selection of coffee to having local goods sold all throughout the store, it was hard leaving Coffeeweed Cottage without buying some souvenirs to go. Their matcha latte was also incredible as well!

Cypress Lake
Home to 5 alligators living on campus, and is in the University of Louisiana of Lafayette. It’s quite incredible being able to swing by in between classes and seeing all the turtles and alligators soaking in the sun! They seem to love showing themselves off as you’ll find them sun bathing on logs!
