Casa verde is a fantastic hotel in La Ventana. It is located on the main beach in town and is a short walk to much of the town. It had a relaxed feel to it and was a very welcoming hotel. It is very clean and has a great staff. Is a great place to stay when coming to La Ventana.

Patys is a local favorite. It may not look like much from the outside but trust me their food is amazing. The el pastor tacos with pineapple may be the best I have ever had. If you are looking for a fantasy high-end restaurant this is not the place but if you want to the real La Ventana experience with the best tacos in town this is your spot.

Silvestre Coffee
This coffee shop is a great place to walk from Casa Verde. It is not a far walk and in the morning when the wind is dead, it will be a lovely walk along the walking path through town. You will see lots of people out and about. They have great coffee and a relaxed environment to hang out or to get some work done.

San Siro, is a local favorite. This Italian restaurant is fantastic. Everything they have on the menu is great. From wood oven pizzas to creamy pasta they have a wonderful menu. They also have a pretty good wine selection so if you are looking for a great meal I highly recommend eating here. Be prepared it is a popular spot so it may be crowded and be ready for it to be a little slow as nothing is speedy in Mexico.

Baja Grill is a great place to watch whatever game is on. Always a fun environment with great food and drinks. Just a short walk along the beach this restaurant is a favorite whenever visiting La Ventana. They will either have the sports game on or old MTV hits playing. A great spot for food or drinks.

La Tuna BCS
La Tuna is one of the best restaurants for sunset dining. It is right on the beach and it makes for a great place to see the sunset. I recommend getting there early and securing a table then ordering drinks until you are ready to eat. They have live music over the weekends and is a great place for families as it is right on the beach. After dinner head up to La Fuente for some ice cream.

KM-0 Coffee is another great coffee shop in La Ventana. They have great breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. It is a longer walk from Casa Verde but still within walking distance if desired.

This is a great spot for lunch. They have great shrimp tacos and is always the first place we go when my grandpa comes to town. They are known for their seafood tacos and plates and are good for lunch.

Ocean Safari: Sea Lions, Mobula Rays, Dolphins, Orcas & Whales
This is so worth it. My family did it last time we went to La Ventana and we saw so many cool ocean animals. There were whales, dolphins, rays, fish, snorkeling and so much more. The guide we had was fantastic and made it a great experience. The boat is small but there are no waves in the sea of Cortez so the ride is mild.

Playa Agua Caliente
The Agua Calientes are hot springs on the beach. They are very cool but need to be visited at middle tides. At high tide the water will be too high to sit in the pools and at low tide the pools will be too hot to sit in. Getting a mix of hot water and ocean water makes a perfect temperature pool. This beach is a little hard to find because it is on the outskirts of town but if you can find it you will have an amazing time. Nowhere else have I seen hot springs on the sand of a beach. Definitely worth checking out.

Playa Central is the center of the kitesurfing world in La Ventana. During the day it is a launching point for many kites. They also rent gear to experience kiteboarders and wing foilers. If you know how to do either and just need gear this is the place to come. In the evenings it turns into a bar and restaurant. They have Pizza and more but usually is a very long wait and has mid food. It is a fun scene for drinks as it has two full bars and lots of games.

ChiloChill Glamping Resort
Chilochill is a beach club. They have a great environment for hanging on the beach. There is a full bar and restaurant that has good food but it is slow so be ready. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas there. They also have gear rentals for kite surfers and foilers as well as mountain bike rentals. La Ventana is a great place to mountain bike with great views and fantasy trails.
