Friday Night

NashHouse Southern Spoon and Saloon
We had dinner here on Friday and on Saturday. We tried the mild Nashville Hot Chicken. It had some kick, but with a nice flavor. We heard the hottest level was not as flavorful. This spot is a little bit out of the way and fairly close to our hotel—about a block from Broadway, so it's not as busy. The food and music were really good; surprised it wasn't busier.

Rustler Hat Co.
This place was packed! We wandered in early on a Saturday morning before breakfast, too. You can get a custom hat made here. Make an appointment ahead of time.

Loved the vibe here. The waffles in the fried chicken and waffles were so good. Almost like a churro waffle.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
We spend a couple of hours here. We bought our tickets at the museum, but I'd advise booking in advance if you don't want to wait in line. The line was not long, but we were also here in winter. I can imagine it's much longer during the height of the travel season.

If you're walking around Nashville, it's worth walking through this iconic spot just outside the Country Music Hall of Fame.

If you play the guitar or even if you're just a fan of guitars or country music, this is a fun place to come check out. They have some cool gear, too.

Robert's Western World
We just popped in here randomly in the afternoon. The only reason we found a table here is because they were in between bands. Luckily, it was only about 15 minutes before the next band started. This was like a real honky tonk with line dancing and everything. Definitely a must-visit. Just come early so you can stake out a table or find a spot on the upstairs balcony.

We did the premium tasting here and it's fun to try the different whiskies and moonshine flavors. There's also a bar and restaurant attached if you're hungry.

This is like an upscale honky tonk. Make reservations! They fill up quickly. We were able to get a last-minute table for an early dinner on a Sunday.
