Day 1

Barton Springs Municipal Pool
The pool is entirely filled with water from nearby natural springs and is one of the most stunning places to swim in Texas with just how bright blue it is! There is a small fee under $10 to enter the municipal pool side, but the local spot is just a couple hundred feet to the left, also known as Barkin Springs since that's where people take there dogs. Before you plan your visit, there are a few things you should know. The pool is closed to the public from 9 am to 7 pm every Thursday for cleaning, so make sure to schedule your visit accordingly. The depth of the pool varies from 0 to 18 feet and they even having a diving board. The temperature may be the same year round, but it's cold!! Fun fact: The springs serve as home to the endangered Barton Springs Salamander, a fact which underscores the importance of preserving this federally protected habitat.

The Oasis On Lake Travis
Known for the one of the best views of Austin and some of the worst food, we still highly recommend making a stop to see the view and snapping some pictures. You also can't go wrong for grabbing a drink on the patio. I would just save your money and go somewhere else for food.

The cutest Latina owned pink Mexican restaurant where you can order pink tacos, sassy drinks, and enjoy all of the fun photo opps! This place gets packed so make reservations ahead of time or plan to go during an off time.

Day 2

Two Hands
Grab an amazing Australian breakfast at this cafe. Serisouly, we had just taken a trip to Australia and were missing the fluffiest eggs and strong coffee and this spot transported us back. Afterwards, you're already right next to one of the top shopping areas which makes it perfect to walk around and explore South Congress.

This iconic coffee spot is where you can take a picture with the famous I love you so much sign while also grabbing a great cup of coffee!

Zilker Botanical Garden
The garden is a serene oasis filled with beautiful landscapes and diverse plant life. Be sure to check out the Japanese Garden, it's absolutely tranquil and picturesque. Just remember to wear comfortable shoes, as there's plenty of walking to be done!

Capital Cruises
Capital Cruises has been our go to for just about any Austin water activity! They're one of the most popular spots for renting kayaks or canoes to paddle the river (although you can also opt to get around in their swans). For something even fancier, they have dinner and lunch cruises. You can also rent out donut boats, cute retro "duffy" boats They also have options during the Summer for bat tours where you can either kayak to see the bats or ride in their boat.

Aba Austin
Aba in Austin is truly a culinary delight. The menu is a Mediterranean-inspired masterpiece, featuring dishes like the Crispy Short Rib Hummus and the Charred Eggplant spread that are bursting with flavor and creativity. The Lamb Ragu is a standout dish, tender and richly seasoned, it's a must-try. My favorite (quite possibly my favorite desert of all time) is the chocolate quick, a rich, dark, and moist chocolate cake that perfectly touted that line of sweet, but not overly sweet. The restaurant itself exudes warmth and charm, thanks to its modern rustic decor, ambient lighting, and lush greenery including a giant trees that grows right out of the middle of the patio.

Bat City Circus
One of the coolest workouts that's more fun that workout, but will definitely leave you sore, is trying acrobatic skills like silks, lyra, hoops, and more. It's amazing how fast you're able to pick up a skill and do those pretty poses you see them do in the shows.

Lucky Robot Restaurant
This spot on South Congress is gorgeous with all of the hanging flours, but it also tastes amazing! We especially loved the cute swinging chairs if you get lucky enough to snag one. One standout dish that you must try is the Beef Hot Rock. This interactive dining experience allows you to cook the finest-grade beef on a hot stone right at your table. And all of their contemporary sashimis are as equally photo-worthy as they are delicious. Lucky Robot takes pride in being the first sushi restaurant in Texas to embrace sustainability, sourcing only from fisheries that are environmentally responsible Reservations are highly recommended.

McKinney Falls State Park, located within Austin city limits, is a natural oasis that offers a refreshing escape from the city bustle. The park boasts two popular swimming spots: the Upper Falls and Lower Falls. The Upper Falls cater to those seeking deeper waters, while the Lower Falls are recommended for younger children or those who prefer shallower waters.

Experience a slice of Paris in Austin at the beautiful Rocheli Patisserie. This award-winning bakery, known for its French-inspired pastries and exceptional coffee, is an enchanting destination with a charming café ambiance.
