Thistle Dhu

Work on your putting at Thistle Dhu putting course. A perfect warm-up before a round, wind-down afterward or just a fun way to let the family share in one’s love of golf, Thistle Dhu is an 18-hole putting course made to make memories on. There are 18 greens here, but no greens fees, so any resort guest can simply bring a putter, drop a ball and take their chances aiming for pin after pin.

The Deuce

Enjoy a delicious meal at The Deuce. Referred to by many as the best 19th hole in golf, The Deuce is lucky enough to be situated to perhaps the most historic hole in all of golf, the 18th on Pinehurst No. 2. Indoor and outdoor seating allows diners here to enjoy this special view while feasting on delicious pub fare served at a restaurant voted the “Best New Restaurant in Golf” by Golf Inc. Magazine. Or one can simply sip craft cocktails and North Carolina microbrews while basking in the company of fellow lovers of the sport.

The Buggy Factory by Southern Pines Brewing Co.

The Buggy Factory by Southern Pines Brewing Company is a brewery, restaurant, cocktail bar, and outdoor performance venue in the heart of historic downtown Carthage, NC serving craft brews, Detroit-style pizza, and signature cocktails. Outside, there is a stage with live music and a beer garden. The Tyson & Jones downstairs speakeasy will feature a curated cocktail menu and a more intimate feeling.

The Ice Cream Parlor Restaurant

If you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, be sure to swing by The Ice Cream Parlor. Located in the heart of Southern Pines, The Ice Cream Parlor Restaurant has been a place to meet and share a smile with friends and family since 1976.

Agora Bakery and Cafe

Start your day off with a delicious breakfast at Agora Bakery and Cafe. Agora means '“a gathering place,” which is the owner’s vision for the bakery and cafe. They wanted Agora to be community-focused, where anyone can come to grab a drink and hang out with friends.

Lunch Head to Drum and Quill for a delicious lunch. This establishment has been voted “Best Authentic Pub” three years in a row.

The Roast Office

For breakfast, head to The Roast Office for a bite to eat and a coffee. This is a great little coffee shop located in the old post office of Pinehurst, North Carolina, currently known as The Outpost. While enjoying your beverage or after a bit of breakfast/lunch, roam through the isles of books.

Railhouse Brewery is owned by Army, Navy, and Air Force veterans and is distributed in North & South Carolina, Georgia, and South Korea. Their iconic American Flag bottle caps distinguish them on the shelves of local grocers and bottle shops as does their focus on malted barley providing balanced beers to the masses.

Carolina Vista Lounge

Located in the Pinehurst Resort, it is a great place for drinks and a great meal with a vibe! We also saw a person playing the bagpipes here!

The Seven 27 Lounge

Very vibey cocktail spot that plays live music and feels like a great spot to hangout! Located right in downtown Pinehurst.

Chapman's Food and Spirits

Great spot for food and drinks in Southern Pines! A highlighted spot in Southern Pines.

Lisi Italian

Possibly the BEST Italian food in the whole region! Must visit if you are staying multiple nights!

Great spot to grab some unique items that are European focused! If you’re in the mood for a nightcap, we recommend grabbing a drink at the highly Instagrammable Augie’s Room at Lisi Market... P.S. They don't take reservations!

Lunch is great here and one of the best spots in Aberdeen!

The Holly Inn

Historic Inn with plenty of rooms that have a historic golf feel to them! They also have a pool that is open seasonally. Located right in downtown Pinehurst, this is the perfect spot to stay for a golf trip or family visit.
