From scrumptious cakes to frosty sweet treats, there's something for every type of sweet tooth in DeKalb County!
COCOCAKES BY COCO
We started off at COCOCAKES with a chocolate turtle chunk! We sundae'd it (so it came with ice cream, whipped cream, cherry — like an ice cream sundae!). It was so good! It was super cool that it was a drive-thru too — made it so easy to stop by, and it's a super unique concept for a small dessert shop!

Next we went to Munster Cravings, where we got a variety of cookies to try. My favorite was the banana pudding cookie, but the frosted birthday cake cookie was a close second!
See MoreSugar Mex
Sugar Mex was sugar heaven! We got a couple popsicles (cookies & cream, cucumber lime), a waffle bowl, and some churro ice cream. The churro ice cream was my favorite!
See MoreFluffy Fluffy Dessert Cafe
Fluffy Fluffy was our next stop! I've been to a couple Fluffy Fluffy locations, but the Tucker location is my favorite because it's so big! There's lot of seating space and room for studying/eating/socializing. We got the blueberry cheesecake soufflé pancakes (my first time trying them!) and they were incredible.
See MoreLayaly Mediterranean Restaurant
We went to Layaly for dinner! Layaly has been blowing up on social media lately so we made a reservation, and I'm glad we did because they were busy! While there we tried a couple savory dishes to recover from our sugar rush (lol), and then had the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert. This cheesecake was incredible — I think this was my favorite item out of the whole trip!
See MoreEsquisito Bakery
Esquisito Bakery had sooooo many baked goods; we picked an assortment to take home since we couldn't stomach more sweets. I didn't realize this is at the time/was a little confused at first, but there is technically another dessert spot called Michoacana inside Esquisito. We tried their Dubai Chocolate Covered Strawberries which were so good! So we got technically got two dessert stops in one at this spot!
