BookBarcelona City Tour
Ok hear me out… I know “hop-on-hop-off” buses are super touristy BUT whenever I visit a new city and they have this bus option, it’s always the first thing I do! It’s a great way to get your bearings and visualize where you are and the spots you want to visit. It “grounds” you and gives you what I call “map confidence”.

For a yummy pastry or cappuccino, I recommend you visit this spot before or after your time at Casa Batlló. It’s next door!

🚨ARCHITECTURE ALERT🚨 In 1904 Gaudi was given full freedom to reform the private property of the Batlló family. Let me tell you…. it’s MAGICAL!! If you quickly swipe through google images you will see what I’m talking about. I highly recommend you book ahead of time to avoid lines and purchase the self guided tour. It’s easy and manageable to do it on your own.

🚨ARCHITECTURE ALERT🚨 Gaudí was commissioned to build a very large property with many apartments. In its time, this building was highly controversial but Gaudí succeeded despite the many hoops. This can be easily walked through on your own without a self guilted tour. The rooftop is not to be missed - it’s like an alien word, truly magnificent!! Bring your camera. Located across the street from Casa Batlló.
