If you like to keep fit, Airport form is the most affordable gym for travellers. We were charged 150 tl for a day pass, which is around £4. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the gym has everything you could need.

Kadıköy
Using public transport in Istanbul is super easy and cheap. You can pick up a travel card at most bus stations / ferry terminals. It’s 70tl for the card and you can top it up whenever you need to. The max you can put on the card is 500tl (£15) and you just swipe the card whenever you catch a bus, tram or ferry.
