Trefethen Family Vineyards
Trefethen was our first winery of the day in Napa. The back patio is where they have their tastings done and wow it was such a beautiful and calming space to just sit and taste their wine at. During the tasting they gave us the history behind Trefethen Family Vineyards and how they process and make each variety of wine. They also have a tasting field where you can go and pluck the grapes from the vines to see how each grape carries its own uniqueness. They have a couple of beautiful event spaces that you can rent out both indoor and outdoor.

CAMi Gallery
CAMi was our midday stop, we visited their tasting room and art gallery in Calistoga. It was started by a husband and wife in 2000. We got to meet and chat with the owner who gave us the history behind her label and was so gracious in showing us her space and chatting with us about the art that was presented in the gallery. You can rent the art gallery and tasting room for events as well.

Mumm Napa
Mumm Napa was our last stop of the day in Rutherford. They offer tastings inside or on their back patio, if you really want to go for it they also have a garden tasting area. We did our tastings on the back patio and enjoyed the lovely quiet the vineyard had to offer. You can find Mumm Napa bottles at some big retailers but ones you will never find in a store (so I naturally had to take some home because they were that good) is the reserves.

Winston's Cafe & Bakery
We started of our morning in the valley with breakfast at Winston’s in Napa. It is a cozy little café to start the morning off right at. I had an avocado bagel that was to die for, and my cousin had a citrus roll. I also grabbed a chai latte to complete the perfect breakfast.

Bouchon Bistro
A mid-morning sweet treat was something we needed on our way through Yountville. We stopped in at Bouchon and the line was of decent size when we got there but quickly grew as time went on. They have beautiful display cases of amazing and delicious treats to try. We got a couple of different treats from a lemon tart to macarons. We also ordered a couple of iced chai lattes to go.

House of Better
We stopped in for some lunch at House of Better in Calistoga. They have mainly outdoor seating in the patio area of their restaurant. You walk up to a stand and order your lunch and take a seat where you would like. They do have a small indoor and covered area tables if the weather isn’t the greatest. They also have rope swings on the backside of their space for people to enjoy. My cousin and I shared a plate of nachos and tacos.

Napa Valley Wine Trolley Classic Tour
Enjoy a trip through the valley on a trolley. They stop at a few wineries during the tour where you can taste some samples (this is a separate cost from the tour) and enjoy lunch among the vines at one of the wineries (included with your tour cost). As you journey along the valley learn the history behind the valley and what makes it one of the best regions to grow grapes for wine.
