Tybee Island
Going to a costal city it’s a must do for us to eat some sea food! This spot is known for their crab cake burger so we had to order it and it is a local favorite for a reason!
If you want to see Tybee from a Birds Eye view the lighthouse is a great way to do it! But the best part was that the area surrounding it has educational signs about the history of Tybee!
Just down the street from the lighthouse, we highly recommend visiting this spot! As marine life enthusiasts, we loved that it not only educates visitors about the local wildlife in Tybee but also focuses on rehabilitating the animals.
Didn’t we say that eating seafood is a must when you're by the coast?! We had to end the day with some, too! The Crab Shack is an iconic spot in the area, offering an amazing atmosphere and unbelievable local Savannah crab dishes that are a must-try when visiting!
We love finding local gems, and this café became an instant favorite! Just a short walk from our Airbnb, its off-the-beaten-path location draws more locals than tourists, which we loved. The cozy setup and the adorable cat, Bean—the café’s unofficial mascot—made it all the more special!
