Salt Lake City
Splurge option if you want to stay in downtown. If you go at Christmas it’s beautifully decorated with a gingerbread house display!
Another slightly splurge option in downtown, more modern than Grand America.
I’d recommend staying here because then you can ski/snowboard at Snowbird resort and then go try Big Cottonwood Canyon the next day. Stunning resort and spa!
More budget friendly option in downtown area but still close to everything.
The sushi here is to die for!
A smaller resort, less lines usually and good for beginners.
My favorite resort in the area. Large, has a ton of terrain for any ability level, can be really busy.
I send everyone who visits to eat here at least once! Super highly rated among locals.
Such good drinks and atmosphere!
If you have time to make the drive, it’s about 1.5 hours from the airport. Beautiful any time of day but especially sunrise and sunset. You can walk and drive on them if it’s not wet!
Winter is the best time to go here because you avoid the bugs! Only about 45min from the airport.
A fun and yummy option if you’re shorter on time before having to leave!
