We left Lake Bled behind after breakfast and set off on foot towards Vintgar Gorge. A deep winding gorge and walkway system cut by the Radovna River a couple of miles from Bled.
On route we would pass through some beautiful suburbs of Bled which sit at the base of the surrounding mountains.

Caption: We walked back to Bled via more picturesque houses, tracks, bee keepers huts & farmland. I seriously can't fit all the photos into these stories.
Next up in part 3 of day 2 we jumped in the car and headed for the Russian built Vrsic Pass with a few stops to tell you about along the way .....
