Caption: Traveling to foreign cities I almost never read too much about it in tour guides. I much rather walk and explore the city on my own pace and with my own eye.
Warsaw is not a very touristy destination anyways. It offers some decent sights but after a couple of days you have seen them. So walking around different parts of the city and seeing how things change within a few blocks is almost the better way
to do "sight" seeing.

Caption: But be aware that 85% of all buildings of Warsaw were destroyed during WWII. Lots of the structures you see are replicas of that time.

Caption: Also Warsaw offers a gritty and changing view. Street art, old furniture dumped on the side walk, buildings about to be torn down or flipped, new buildings built. You can see the constant change happening.
Also just recently the second underground line opened.

Caption: Hipsterism reached Warsaw a while ago. You can find fancy magazine stores and interestingly enough - the milk bars, a traditional cheap eatery for the everyday needs experiences a revival as well.
