Aquatic life The Vancouver Aquarium is a recognized leader in connecting people to the natural world. They are a self-supporting, non-profit society dedicated to effecting the conservation of aquatic life through display and interpretation, education, research and direct action
The money made from the aquarium is used to fund the rehabilitation of injured animals for eventual release into the wild. They are also part of the breeding community for the African penguins.
