Caption: Week twenty eight was our second week of being able to travel again in Scotland, so once again we headed down the coast for a few walks: to John Muir Country Park as the sun was setting, and the light was almost sparkling over the bay; and to Yellowcraig, and our first trip back since March. There are some local walks here too, with moody skies at the sea front, and some dramatic light at the ash lagoons.

Caption: This one is a little random, I know, but I couldn’t resist this flower in our garden. Richard planted our tiny back garden last year (we didn’t inherit any planting when we moved here, other than a tree at the back and a hydrangea at the front of the house) and one of my highlights of this spring and summer was watching this garden came to life. With everything else going on, this little garden was our haven.
