Caption: On July 25, 2015, at Fan Alley in Anaheim, some artists paid tribute to the great animated works put forth by the Warner Brothers Studio over the years.
Here is the road I took toward my homage to one of my very favorite films of all time, "The Iron Giant," directed by Brad Bird.

Caption: After a heavy afternoon of watching the movie again, I finally found the path and celebrated with the rolling of some sticker tape.
Oh, I might've also watched "Ernest and Celestine" that afternoon too.
Caption: But then there was much resembling of a kangaroo in the deer, so my frustrated mind required some girl-sketching...

Caption: Once recharged, I was ready to refine the designs in my painting.
Picture
Caption: Still quite kangaroo-esque, but I was on my way, so I gave myself one pink roller sticker bunny.

Caption: This piece was going to be slightly different from my usual watercolors. I was going to employ a technique that I hadn't done in years.
I was trained in watercolor when I was 9 and at one point, I began to mix it with graphite for a richer texture. I thought it would be appropriate for this piece.
