With a 100k budget & 100 day challenge, Lisa & Andrew Radford converted this space into a rustic scandi/industrial feast for the eyes.
Here, the family serve up menus & cocktails crafted with ingredients fresh from local artisan suppliers & foragers, as well as their own kitchen garden.
This is one foodie stop not to miss on a trip to Edinburgh...

I delighted in bare copper pipes & brick walls, open roof beams, sheepskin throws, candles, the most enormous industrial centrepiece lamp; and they were jolly lucky I didn't leave with a bag chinking & heaving with the beautiful ceramic, earthen & glassware every dish & drink was served upon!

Caption: Not usually a drinker due generally to taste, I opted for an alcohol free elderflower cocktail. But by happy accident, was served the alternative of pickled elderflower, vermouth & cider...I am converted & now long to return to try the rest of the menu - noble fir, unripe berries, vermouths & sparkling wine would be up first for winter please!
