Caption: The five-mile trail through the park, which followed the bank of a long, mountain valley lake, led to a beautiful, aged castle. In order to get to the castle, one has to first walk through the outer gardens, which were thick and lush and closely resembled that of a rain forest. Bamboo trees, along with gigantic green leafs springing from enormous red flowers that were laced with vines of small white blossoms were only some of the sights long the trail.

Caption: Making our way through the garden and beholding the castle for the first time, thoughts of storybook fairytales came to my mind. It was as if I was walking into the story of valiant Robin Hood or the tale of Sleeping Beauty.

Caption: With brightly colored green doors, which were large enough for a giant’s entrance, stained-glass windows and pointed-roofed round towers with inside spiral staircases, the castle was charming and whimsical and just as a castle should be.

Caption: Sitting on the edge of the lake, it was completely picturesque. In the front of the castle, there was a dated swimming pool and stair cases that led down to the lake surface.
