In the early fall of 2015 I was lucky to experience a safari trip in true African style.
I checked in at Earth Lodge at Sabi Sabi and met lovely people sharing the same dream as me.
More so, our guide was non other than my boyfriend. He's been a game ranger for nearly 4 years and boy did I forget how attractive kaki's and a riffle looks on a man?
I've always wanted to visit the Kruger National Park in South Africa, so making a tick next to this dream was just such a pleasure.

Caption: After my first 2 drives I could already brag about my encounter with the big 5.
- What an amazing moment to see the King of the jungle greet his female, licking her face as a sign of acknowledgement.
- What a way to spend an afternoon with a leopard less than 5 meters away from the game viewer. Everyone is quiet as she makes small movements while stalking her prey.
- What a privilege to stare into the dangerous eyes of a buffalo.

Caption: This really was game viewing of the highest quality. Each morning were clear, crisp and spoiled us with the most beautiful sunrise. The beauty of the bush itself does not hold back from the wild animals. When viewing game in moderate temperatures and topping it off with clear starry skies, one just wants to salute mother earth.
