Caption: The three of us had traveled this route before-exploring the forested, loamy trails of Northern California. On that trip we discovered several great rides, yet there was one trail in particular that, due to various mishaps, would elude us, and we vowed to return. Twenty years later with just a 3 day window and a 1500 mile round trip we packed up and departed Orange County with that single destination in mind.
