Hard to believe that this will be my last ledger to you as a board member. Serving five semesters as a board member of the best club was truly a life-changing experience for me. I have always compared joining Accounting Club as signing up for a gym membership. As you probably know, signing up for the gym membership does not make you any bigger. Also, going to the gym does not make you any stronger unless you actually workout.
Accounting Club is the same. If you just join the club or if you simply attend the events, your gains will probably be minimal. You have to work out. Gains come from having good conversations, asking the right questions, and real networking. Obviously, the more you work out, the greater your gain will be. ASK someone to spot you. Be aggressive and approach. Don't just sit around and watch other people work out. Go as heavy as you can.
It's never goodbye,
Ji Woo

Caption: Kyle Watanabe, Dir. of Internal Affairs Wow, time sure does fly by. I can’t believe that I will be graduating in two weeks. It truly is a bittersweet feeling. I’ve been spending a lot of time reminiscing about all my memories in AC over the past 2 years. There are so many things that I will miss like the friendships that I have gained, the fun AC events, and of course those late nights in the ARC “studying”. I still remember the day that I joined AC, it seems just like yesterday. I never expected joining would become one of the best decisions of my life. I hope you all get involved and take advantage of all the benefits that you have through Accounting Club as I did. AC provides you with so many opportunities whether it’s community service, leadership experience, but most importantly being able to network with professionals. So please take advantage of all these perks. If you ever need help on resumes/interviews or have any questions feel free to ask any of the board members or even the alumni. We are all here to help you!
I am excited for the future of Accounting Club! I feel like this semester had one of the youngest executive boards and you guys went above and beyond all my expectations. Please keep doing what you do even if you are not on board next semester, you are still important leaders to the club. To all the seniors graduating, I wish you the best of luck on your future endeavors. To all returning students, please join again and make AC amazing as always! Thank you everyone for making this semester so much fun, I will definitely miss you all. I may be graduating, but my email is always open to everyone – kylemw@hawaii.edu - don’t be afraid to email me!
Until next time,
Kyle

Caption: Suzanne Pak, Dir. of Information Systems Hey AC,
If you didn't already know, one of my main jobs this semester has been to make the monthly Ledger for you. I've had a ton of fun doing it, and could never wait to start putting each one together-- until now. I held off on making this month's issue because I knew it would be my last, and I wasn't quite sure what the right words to say were. I don't think I could thank all of you enough for what you guys have done for me, but please know that I am eternally grateful to this club. From the second I joined, AC has pushed me to grow as a person and provided me with innumerable opportunities and mentors that have changed me forever. I can't believe what a great impact this club has made on my life in such a short time. Thank you so much for this.
To those continuing in the club-- If AC hasn't changed your life yet, you're doing it wrong! This club has so much to offer, starting with the best members and support system, and you should definitely take the opportunity to get more involved next semester. It's never too late, and I promise it will be more than worth your while! For those of you who love AC as much as I do, I'm sure you understand how much meaning your friendship and guidance gives to others. Please continue to build up our club, and always, always find ways to improve it! I'm excited to return as an alumna and see our organization thriving and better than ever. Best of luck to all of you, please keep in touch (suzannep@hawaii.edu), and remember to take control of your future!
See you again,
Suzanne

Caption: Dillon Wang, Vice President Hi AC,
Thanks for making this semester a great one. Serving as your Vice President was an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience; I enjoyed seeing everyone attend all our events and I liked going to all of them. I hope you all got what you wanted out of AC and continue to do so.
My favorite memories include meeting and hanging out with all of you, watching everyone perform their skits in Joint Venture, and all the great times we’ve had this semester. I’m going to miss our graduating members very much and I wish you all the best of luck in the next chapter of your life. Please come back and visit! Everyone else, I’ll see you guys next semester. Have a great finals week and summer!

Caption: Ivonne Lee, Secretary Hello AC!
Thank you for being a part of AC and for all of your collaborative effort over the course of this semester! Its honestly been wonderful getting to meet all of you and seeing all the returning members as well. This semester, I've been humbled by getting to know so many new faces and also seeing members from Fall returning to make new friends! The best part about being with AC is all the people you wouldn't have met otherwise.
I hope we all keep in touch during the semester, or at least see you again in Fall! Please study hard for upcoming finals, because all the work you have (or haven't) been doing is going to be summed up in a couple weeks! For graduating members - Congratulations! I really do wish you the best and hope this isn't goodbye :) I'm sure we'll see each other at Socials next semester (and beyond. You're all invited!), or at the very least, around town. If you're moving off island... Good luck! That's a huge step and I wish you good luck!!

I hope you all had as much fun as I did this semester. Looking back at this semester, I can honestly say that it has been the best semester of my college career so far. Not only was I able to see myself grow personally and professionally, I was able to see the club its members do the same. I am happy to say that I will be returning next semester as Director of Professional Relations, and I hope I will be able to see you all again. Heres to another great semester with AC!

Yet another semester is quickly coming to an end! I hope you have enjoyed all the fun events we've had throughout the semester. I'll definitely miss all of you during summer, but I am surely looking forward to upcoming semesters and all the exciting new beginnings there are to come. I am glad to have had the opportunity to serve you as Director of Human Resources and will look forward to the upcoming year as Secretary. I can't wait to see all the changes there are to come and how the club will grow. For those members who are graduating this summer - good luck in all your future endeavors and come back to the ARC to visit us! Thank you for all the support and encouragement you've given me. Without all of you, I wouldn't be where I am today. You will be missed dearly! To those who have some time left here at UH, I hope to see you in the Fall!
Wishing you the best!
