We witnessed great architectural treasures and took a trip into history and the culture of an island in which many different cultures such as Italians, Greeks, Orthodox Christians, Catholic Christians and more co-exist.

Caption: As I said before Easter is a big deal for the island of Corfu. 15 philharmonic orchestras participate in the celebrations and also schools parade alongside priests. The biggest day is the Holy Saturday. The tradition finds the citizens of Corfu throwing "Botides" out of their windows. "Botides" are big ceramic bowls. This way, they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
