From here, the fishery boats of the Volendam fleet left for their fishing trips. You should not miss seeing the 2 historic fishing boats maintained for preservation of the Zuiderzee culture. The Volendam boats are still to be recognized by the abbreviation 'VD' in the name. These boats are very typical of the ones used in the area.
