Caption: Yesterday we went on an adventure. I love an adventure. We have never been to the Historic Dockyard at Chatham, despite it being very close to us indeed. So we jumped in the car and off we went.

Caption: There were A LOT of cool doors. As well as exploring new sniffs I sat in front of many doors. Being a country pup #doortraits are not something I have to do very often. But there were too many good ones here for 👩🏻 to resist.

Caption: One of the coolest buildings was this Victorian Ropery...

Caption: ... Rope has been made here for the last 400 years. It is still being made inside that building using Victorian machinery. When it was built the ropehouse was the longest brick building in Europe. Some of you might also recognise it as a set for Call the Midwife.

Caption: Being a Sunday in October it was ever so quiet (just how we like it!) so I may have taken a sneaky shot just inside a door of the Ropery. You get a tiny sense of just how loooong the ropewalk is behind me - a staggering 346 metres (or 1135ft) 😳. Here I am actually only standing part way down the building in a side door!
