Caption: I apologize for my long delay in posting to Steller but June was CRAZY! I started in Sydney with Vivid and then hit the road to shoot Dark Mofo in Tasmania before finishing up in Queenstown NZ for Winterfest. I have so many stories to share.
Let's start with my week in Sydney shooting my favorite Australian event, Vivid Sydney.

Caption: Vivid is a festival of Light, Music and Ideas and I have been shooting it for five years consecutively with the state tourism board. 😍😍

Caption: Throughout the festival the city completely transforms with installations popping up everywhere. Highlights for me always include the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge but this year I also LOVED the Vivid Bridge Climb and Taronga Zoo.
I also got some great shots from the top of the Shangri-La Sydney and caught the Darling Harbour show "Magicians in the Mist".

Caption: This year I shot the entire festival on my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II and found the Live Composite feature incredible! Many of my favorite shots were taken using this feature ...

Caption: Despite the draw card of Vivid there are also plenty of other reasons to visit Sydney and I explored a number of neighborhoods while I was there: Chippendale, Rose Bay, Bondi Beach and Surry Hills.
You have to find some stuff to do during the day you know! ;)
