Caption: The base was Interlaken. It was easy to get here, from the Netherlands and a fine location from where you can get to many more wonderful locations.

Caption: The walking trails are great here and achievable at any level. They are well signposted and there are many hiking apps that support the routes
If walking is not for you, you can always take the train or cable car up to the summit.

Caption: At the top and where the cog railway meets the end of the hiking trails is Harder Kulm and the restaurant and viewing point.
It is a popular destination for hikers wanting a stopover and for day trippers wanting to enjoy the views from above and the Bernese Alps in the distance.
