Caption: Our group met at the St.John's bridge, just north of Portland.
The bridge is a scenic attraction, for good reason:
it's a beautifully green, Gothic structure!
It's the only suspension bridge in the area. It's also the Northern most bridge that crosses theWillamette.
Cathedral Park lies on the east side of the river, beneath the bridge.

Caption: As we were leaving the bridge shoot, we walked past the scenic view at the base of the staircase to find two guys creating an arrangement. They were spelling out 'Marry Me?" all in votive candles. They were nice enough to let us shoot them as they set up! It took them hours and we didn't even stay until the end though we heard the results the next day...
