Caption: Halfway through my through my Spain story, I realised I needed to split it up for a number of reasons. 1. It would’ve been waaaaayyyy too long. 😅 2. The pictures I took in this next story mean the world to me. At the risk of getting personal, my childhood in Indonesia plus summer stays in the UAE made me fascinated with Islam. I was raised and still practice Christianity but the intricate Muslim world amazes me. The way architecture glorifies their God, especially in a religion where it is forbidden to actually draw Him, lead to innovations that still give me goosebumps. So when the chance to visit the center of Moorish Spain arose, I totally jumped on it. And it probably lead me to take some of the best pictures I have ever taken.
