Picture
Caption: Hopefully by now you've seen my last Steller, it's chock full of animals photographed over two days of Safari in Madikwe Game Reserve.
Before the safari came Cape Town and Johannesburg, two blissful days in each extremely different city!
2-2-2 Can you think of a more perfect introduction to South Africa? ππΌππΎπ¦

(Photo from Madikwe)

Caption: South Africa is safe if you do your research well and look for reputable tour operators to help guide you. Be vigilant with yourself and your personal belongings, as you would in any international destination, and exercise normal caution.
I felt safe at all times and was very glad to have this positive personal experience. I never let fear mongering stop me from traveling! βοΈ

Caption: Roots Africa In Cape Town we were hosted by Roots Africa and hit up Camps Bay, the 12 Apostles Hotel, Table Mountain, BoKaap, Signal Hill and Stellenbosch. (Wine country π·)

Picture
Caption: Cape Town was a wholly unexpected destination for me! In the back of my mind I knew it was beautiful but wasn't prepared for how beautiful!
The other enigma was that, in a city of 5 million people, there is nature everywhere! Wild animals, world class landscapes, amazing hikes and turquoise beaches!

Caption: Johannesburg was another surprise! I'm ordinarily not one for city shooting but I got so into it here! A special mention has to go to the Street Art we found, particularly the work of @Faith47. (Instagram)
A trip to 'Joberg' is not complete without visiting Soweto and both the Nelson Mandela house and the Hector Pieterson Museum are must see attractions.
