Caption: I recently spent a few days on a kind of holiday in Sardinia, one of the biggest and most beautiful islands we have in Italy.
“A kind of” holiday, yes, because it was not a real holiday for me. Nonetheless I had a real, big purpose: meeting one of the most important friends of mine for the first time (we first “met” ages ago in the virtual world - but this is another story).

Caption: The day we finally met, she carried me around Cagliari, «Casteddu» for the locals.
There I had the chance to cherish the beautiful façades and the colours of the pretty houses in the historical streets, and to smell (and taste) an incredible variety of flavours.

Caption: We also had a stroll in Villanova, a very colourful district in the mid of the city. Old façades, pastel colours, painted doors and greenery all around. With no doubt, this has been one of the best parts of my journey.
