Caption: The Fall harvest of rice is an amazing sight to see for a westerner like myself. The Old World culture of the rural Chinese workers grabbed my attention quickly.
For these farmers, it's a way of life. But for me, it was an important new perspective of the rich history of this beautiful nation.

Caption: Workers hand cut each bundle of rice stock and lay them carefully on the ground where other workers pick up the bundle and whack the tops against the inside of a wooden box, collecting the individual grains of rice.
