Caption: Restoring Seeking Peace Through The Stomach
Caption: Throughout the last couple of years I've found that my diet has been deteriorating and as a knock on effect, both my mental and physical health has taken a toll.
It's not until I started eating more and better that I realised just how ill I was.
Through the art of a well-balances diet, I have found a better interest in day to day activities alongside leisure ones.
This is just a small journal to help my interest stay alight.
Caption: Breakfast I found that although it may be easy to skip breakfast (even with the worry of that late morning "bad choice snacking" myth), it can really affect your mental and physical state throughout the rest of the day.
Getting creative and filling my boots with variety first thing has not only helped me to get back on track, but tackled my fear of late morning hunger cramps.

Caption: Lunch Now, lunch has always been a personal favourite, but through experience, I found that cutting back on the calories through fear of it not appearing to be "slimming" enough can really make the hours between lunch and dinner drag.
Avoiding a quick glance at the calories and instead focusing on the goodies it's full of can make it less of a struggle. Hunger pains are a thing of the past.

Caption: Dinner After a hectic day, it's hard to take an interest in food. Of course we're all guilty of picking up a ready made meal and admittedly ready made meals are still a thing on my end.
...Like readily made. Made in advance and frozen. Sounds ridiculous, right? Not at all. It's great for when, for lack of a better word, you can't be assed.
HOWEVER, getting just as creative makes it seem like much less of a chore!

Caption: Nibble/ Drinks Three square meals a day are very important, but we're all guilty of the occasional extra. And so we should be! I plead guilty openly! We deserve treats!
I find that something healthy and light will tide me over or help me power through a tough workout. Anything heavy can throw me off and/or make me sluggish.

Determination and creativity has brought me this far.
A good diet has given me back my mental, emotional and physical well-being. I feel lean, strong and collected. No amount of dieting could give me that.
