Caption: Last week I headed over to Perth, Western Australia.
I haven't spent much time on the west coast of Oz, so it was great to have this opportunity to do a little more exploring of this great country I call home....🇦🇺

Caption: I started my adventure in Fremantle at the infamous Fremantle Prison.
The prison was built by convicts who were shipped out from England in the early 1800's, it took almost 7 years to complete, the prison was finished in 1859 and remained in continual use until 1991 😱

Caption: The best way to explore any new town is to get out and go on a walking tour. Ryan from 'two feet and a heartbeat' was brilliant, full of local knowledge and history.

Caption: Little Creatures Brewery is located on the Fremantle waterfront, it is a WA institution. Awesome place to spend a summers afternoon with a glass of the famous Pale Ale 🍺

Caption: Fremantle has some amazing little cafes and restaurants, this was one of my favourite breakfast places, if you're in Fremantle make sure you give it a crack.

Caption: Rottnest Island is off the coast of Fremantle, The best way to get to Rottnest is on the fast ferry from Fremantle Jetty or from Perth City, it takes approx 30 minute. Once you arrive you can hire a bike and spend the day exploring, and getting Quokka selfies 😂😂
