Caption: Orangutan is from the Malay and Indonesian words 'orang' meaning person and 'hutan' meaning forest. These beautiful apes are only naturally found in the rain forests of Sumatra and Borneo. It was a privilege to be able to see at least five mothers and their babies and one male hanging out in the treetops. Being able to hold the hand and look into the eyes of an orangutan in the wild was crazy scary and crazy wonderful.
