Hawker Center Our first stop! It has became a lot more touristy than the last time, but luckily the foods are still alright.
Tbh, there was nothing really memorable about the food here, but its still a good introduction to what penang can offer the foodie in you.

Caption: Tho Yuen Restaurant An honest to God dim sum restaurant, classic from the smile-less aunty, dim sum cart that you have to chase around, and the nostalgic deliciousness of lap chiong pao, siumai, hagao, and many more, and its cheap! An exciting and vintage experience.

Caption: Air Itam Laksa Amongst the dirty market road, lies a humble legend who has been selling traditional penang laksa for many years.
The soup was thick in fabulous fishy flavours, the herbs & vegs added the much needed freshness, and the chilli just kicked everything into high gear. Clearly a legend for a reason.

Char Kway Teow Located in the legendary char kway teow alley, Lorong Selamat, this stall headed by a fiery aunty has truly stood through the test of time & criticism and stayed at the top.
The kway teow was perfectly charred, lapchiong and other toppings compliments each other in flavour and texture, pure genius.
