Caption: Peacefield is located in Quincy, Massachusetts, hometown of two US Presidents, John Adams and his son John Quincy Adams. It is a historic home and now part of the Adams National Historic Park.
It piqued my interest to visit this place after having learned about this particular garden from a colleague.
It opened at 9am yesterday 6/13/20 and the garden is open to the public gratis but not the house.
It was a beautiful day, blue skies with high thin clouds, refreshing cool breeze, a perfect day to be out and about. Yes, we’re still in the midst of this ever present pandemic so I took the necessary precautions- mask on, physically distancing and sanitizer handy, which I do even before it went vogue😊. There were very few people though.
I had a relaxing day, peaceful, just what I needed after a hectic work week. The garden is small yet charming and really enjoyed it. Lots of birds singing.
