Palermo stretches to the sea, but the amazing thing is the roads, even 12 kilometers long going through it, parallel to the sea. For example, via Freedom which continues in Via Ruggiero VII, which continues in Via Maqueda, which continues etc. etc. Along Via Ruggiero VII-Via Maqueda are the two main theaters: The Politeama Piazza Ruggiero VII and the Teatro Massimo.
